Patrick Van Coillie has an extensive background in development, training and leadership in IT-related companies.
Patrick graduated with a Master’s degree in Sociology. He began his career at the University of Ghent as a Scientific Research Assistant, where he could immediately valorise his additional IT training.
As from 1990, he joined the Training Institute of West Flanders (now known as “Syntra West”), where he helped ensure the further development of this company into a professional knowledge provider. He reached the position of Director Informatics in this company, but chose to make his next career step in 2001, when he assumed the position of General Manager in an IT training centre of a private holding, becoming Director of their software company after a period of three years. During this time, he transformed the company from a generic provider of custom-made solutions to a focused supplier of state-of-the-art business solutions with international partners.
In early 2009, he joined the Accord Group, where he focuses on high-quality leadership assignments for IT and related companies.
